Glounsbury,,,
Butch looks like a smart Kitty.
Does he help you with models much?
And Tinkerbell looks like a mini Dachshund.
My in-laws have one named Little Bit.
She is a cutey too.
Avro202,,,
Love the reading cat video.
Very COOL !!!
Can you e-mail it to me so I might share it with
my sister in-law?
PM me about it if you can.
Sbirulina,,
Your Kitty looks like he probably enjoys playing with any model you build.
And I bet he is a good build helper too.
Thanks for sharing the pictures.
Keep them coming.
Gary

OK guys and gals,
My wife found this one.
It's a lost cat ad I have been printing out and having
some fun with.
Even our vet got a huge laugh out of it.
Enjoy,
Gary

Butch is not a helper he is more the outdoorsman type, he only gets on two tables the kitchen table to look out the window and his food table (his food is off the floor so Tinkerbell cannot eat it).
Yes, Tinkerbell is a mini - Butch has about a 50% weight advantage.
If I try to do anything in the recliner chair (I sometimes like to build there with a small drafting board) there is a competition to see who gets the lap and who gets the arm rest. Other than sitting on parts and tools neither one 'helps'.

George

not a cat lover until.............

About 25 years ago my wife was wanting a cat but I didn't. Our daughter very cleverly gave her a kitten for Mother's Day. Spooky was with us for 12-13 years and I didn't know until he disappeared that I was attached to him more than I thought. He brings me to tears when I think of him now not knowing what really happened to him. A few more years passed and a neighbor spotted 4 kttens in her back yard and was able to go out and gather 3 of them. The local vet took them and put them up for adoption. Next day I spotted the forth one out back and went and gathered her up and brought her to the same vet with the intention of letting her join her siblings. I was curious and asked what sex she was and they thought she was female as it was hard to tell with a 5 week old kitten. They asked what I wanted to do with her and since she was clinging to me I foolishly said, "I'm taking her home". Now, 5 years later she is MY cat. We think she is part ferel as I have had many bites to prove it. But she is mellowing with age. There are many interesting tales to tell about this cat but I don't want to take up too much space. I attach a photo I took when she was just a kitten, she was full of it, believe me. Somehow she got into my wife's flowers on the coffee table and was taking a nap but I woke her taking the picture. I am also stopping now as she is at my feet staring at me, she wants something again. John

Beautiful story, John. Tears me up thinking about Spooky. Happy you have another in your life.
She's a nice shade of gray.

John,
I agree with Jagolden,,,
A beautiful story and it does bring a tear to my eye as well.
Thank you for sharing it with us cat lovers.
And your picture of your baby girl is adorable.
What a little cutie pie !!! ( What's her name ? )
As for her biting you,,,
Some cats just show love that way.
My boy Brumby still climbs me from toe to my shoulders.
He did this to get up there when he was a kitten.
He still does it now at age 5. Guess I am our Kitties
scratching post. ( I love it )
Please share any stories with us you care to about your cats.
And put up all the pictures you want to.
We will enjoy seeing them.
Specially ones with models, or you and them working on models together.
That's what this post is all about.
Best Regards,
Gary

Skitter

Gary, her name is Skitter because of the way she would go into her attack mode when she was startled. There were too many strange happenings with this cat that my wife started keeping a journal.

She is de-clawed and fixed so is an indoor cat. She is allowed to "go out" on our enclosed front porch when it is locked. My wife puts seasonal decorations on the porch and at Halloween time one year we noticed the same item knocked on the floor. It was a little black stuffed cat that was sitting on the pumpkin. Then we started seeing the little stuffed cat in the house. So we let her have it as a toy. But that wasn't her intent, she adopted the stuffed cat we now call "Baby".
Skitter moves Baby through out the house during the day. When Skitter moves Baby she meows loudly. Never know where we will find Baby. At bed time before we are asleep we hear her moving Baby near or into the bedroom. Yes, Skitter sleeps with us and hogs the bed.

The attached photo is where Skitter left Baby to watch the squirrels. John

You know, we just can't have nice things. I knew it wouldn't be long before cat hater Airdave chimed in with some boorish comments and pictures.
