Hi Sakrison,
Greetings from Minnesota. My wife had a black cat when I met her. Her name was Scitzo. She was a treasure. We still miss her and all our kitties that have gone before Brumby and Callie. Everyone should have the joy of having a cats love sometime in their life. Here for you and the guys to enjoy are some pictures of Callie and Brumby playing. Best Regards, Gary |

By the way guys,
Just in case you want to watch some videos. I have over 30 videos of my kitties on youtube. One of my favorites is this one. It's a video of Brumby as the trainer,,, and Callie as the boxer. It's kind of like the workout montage from Rockey with captions. And if you watch it, then you can click on the little 40 videos part below the screen to see others. And,,, even three videos of me when I was a professional musician working with bands in Branson, MO doing my style of drum comedy. Hope you enjoy the videos. I have three black cats. Two of them are twin brother and sister, but their mother who brought them to me as kittens, died a few years ago. The third is a rescue cat from the same neighborhood, and they may all be related.
Here are two pictures of my orange cat, Peter, who likes to cram into any available space. And no, I didn't go ahead and make some catsup when I found him in the saucepan (though I did think about it.) |

I have always lived with cats. Our current pair are Spot (the black) and Ginger, a reddish Tortoiseshell, both females and both animal shelter cats.
The first time we took Spot to the vet and left her overnight, they said, "We looked all over her for the spot and couldn't find it." We said, "She IS the spot." (Her nickname is "Smudge.") The first cat my wife and I had was also the most interesting -- a huge half-Abyssinian that looked like a small mountain lion. He was very friendly, scary-smart, and a delight to live with. We had him for 18 years. We've had half a dozen cats since then, usually two at a time. It would be hard to imagine living without them. People who say cats are standoffish and aren't affectionate don't how to make a home for cats. Ginger sits at my elbow when I work at my desk, sits on my lap when I read or watch TV, and both cats are as eager for a tickle as any dog I have ever met. Best of all, Mark Twain wrote that most people are descended from apes but redheads are descended from cats. I keep hoping.... Cheers, --David

Sakrison,
I feel the same as you do about Cats. Ours will come and get me and lead me to the living room to play, or lead me to the door when they want to go for a walk with me. ( Ours are leash trained ) Of course we talk to each other all the time as well. Would enjoy seeing some more pics' of yours. Here are some more of Brumby and Callie I recently took. Best Regards, Gary |

Bella sure is a cutie pie. That's an adorable picture. Mine are hard to get pictures of sometimes too. Specially inside the house with the flash making their eyes glow. And congratulations on your new family member Figero. Can't wait to see a picture of him. As always, Best regards, Gary |

I did not have a chance to tell you how cute Peter is sleeping that way. He reminds me of my orange Kitty Brumby. Brumby will sleep curled up like that to hide his eyes from the light. But to see yours in the pan like that is really hilarious. Please post more pictures when you can OK? Here are a couple pictures of Brumby when he was a kitten hanging out in my Grandmother's antique bowl. He has since outgrown it. ( WHEW ! ) Best Regards, Gary |
