Kitty's first Christmas
My wife found this on Facebook. As this is our first Christmas
with Cammie, we probably won't do a full tree. This is why.

We don't even have a tree anymore. We just decorate with things that are out of the way of our kids. ( KITTIES ) Hope you have a great Christmas. Gary |

Dear Cat Want to be Folk:
You can have a tree with cats,,, where you put the tree has to have a hook in the ceiling that can hold the weight of the tree plus the weight of the cat(s) and a cord from the top of the tree to the hook I use 60 pound cod line doubled. first done by my father in the 1930's, Miles |

I have a kitty. Her name is Cammie. I have had several in my lifetime.
I also understand kitties first tree. I am not a Cat Want to be Folk. She is here. She is family. I appreciate your Christmas tree option, to allow the best of both worlds.

When I was growing up, we decorated our tree in the opposite way that normal people do. The heavier fragile ornaments went all the way up top, and the soft, squishy, battable ornaments went on the bottom.
And one benefit to having a cat is that by the time the tree has to come down, it's pretty much had all the ornaments removed. |
