Jed, can't understand anyone not liking some kind of a pet. But will say that last one "there can only be one" reminds me of my pack when they get in a pecking order attitude.

The first of Jed's latest pics could be our "Winkie". For some reason, that super nose of his doesn't work very well if the bit of meat drops out of his direct line of vision. But let me make the mistake of forgetting to put the cheese bagels away and...

Those are some fine looking cats everyone has.

This thread has got me thinking of the various wartime ship and cat mascots. Are any of you familiar with this photo?

Here is a link to the entire site, “Cats in Wartime”. Some interesting stuff.

OK as kittens I referred to these two as the ninja cats who were operating an Al Cata cell specializing in terrorizing my models with teeth and claw.

Now the only thing they do is jump on my workbench once in a while and threaten to knock stuff off of it.

Since my wife found them in picture 1 and not me, they survived for picture 2. Names are Peanut and Tiger. I suspect you can guess which one is Tiger.

I think I might have to start a dog thread now as counterbalance....

Nice looking helpers you have there Greg.
They look like they might be really into paper modeling.
And,,, if you start a dog thread, that might be nice too.
I don't know if dogs are into helping build paper models as
much as cats are.
Dogs have four paws, where as cats have hands and feet.
That's why they are such good helpers. ( HE HE )
But I'm sure folks would be happy to share pictures of their
dogs with other dog owners.
Thanks for sharing the pictures.
Best Regards,
Gary

Hi john,
I tried to click on your first link and it wouldn't let me in.
All I got was a page that said forbidden.
Can you do a click and save to put the picture up
so we can see it?
Thanks,
Gary

Hi Gary,

Click the main site link than click “Wartime Cats in the Air”. The photo in question is the fourth one down. It shows a kitten sleeping on top of the instrument panel of a B-25 in flight. That kitten is one sound sleeper!

Thanks John,
A great picture of an obviously happy Kittie to be taken along
with it's human pals.
And I like the part about the pilot not being penalized
for taking his Kittie with him in the aircraft. ( VERY COOL )
