Hello Gary,
Do cats like planes? My old kitty loved playing with my old toy cars, but I never gave her a plane model before.

Great question N96HBK.
Here is the deal with cats and paper models.
Cats love paper.
So it does not matter what kind of model it is.
They love to play with anything made from paper.
That's why you folks notice that I am
what you all call a paper purist.
In other words,,, I build my models from paper and
ONLY PAPER.
That way the models are what I call,,, KITTY FRIENDLY.
My kitty's can play with them,,, tear them up,,,
and chew on them,,, without getting hurt from them.
The ones I do with structural supports internally like,,,
Forest wire for struts and landing gear,,, and using
sanded round toothpicks,,, and also using q-tip sticks for
prop disks etc,,, I do not let my kitties play with AT ALL. ( EVER !!! )
So,,, YES cats do love anything that flys. Just like birds.
Try this,,, build some of the F.G. flying dinosaurs for your
kitties to play with. They are ALL PAPER. Or a totally paper airplane.
Here are a couple URLs of my flying dino and bird models I
posted on youtube playing with my son Brumby.
As you will see,,, These are Kitty friendly.
So,,, Keep your kitties in mind if you build a model
for them to play with.
Best Regards,
Gary

How to build a box kitty

Hi Folks,
As I stated in my previous post,,, It was Miles that got me the kitty
models. ( THANK YOU SO MUCH MILES ) And having never built one before I asked him if there was an instruction page for them.
He mentioned that there was not one available.
SO,,, We decided to get together on a build thread that might help
folks that had never built one of these cute kitty's.
This build thread is in the form of pictures with instructions captioned as both of us were building a kitty. Miles built the kitty Henri,,, and I built the kitty Cooper.
Hope the picture captions show up on the pictures too.
And Hope you all enjoy this build thread,
Gary & Miles

This any good?

Not sure if it's a Chrome facility or win 10, but when I right click on a picture one of the options is 'Search google for image'

Results for this one pulled it in first one, but take your pick from the others too ... https://www.google.co.uk/search?tbs=...pr=0.9#imgrc=_

Dear John:
Thanks John, I don't know if you have Groundhogs, Marmots, Whistle pigs there in Wales but over here they are the spring weather predictor and this year they lied. I like ground hogs however I am ready for warm weather so the kitten in the picture speaks volumes to me now.

Hmmm? Sore point. No we don't get any of them here Miles ... Just cats

One neighbour has four and the newish one the other side has a ginormous tom that has taken over the area. Even birds are rare since he moved in and I don't bother to feed them any more in case he gets at them.

I'm keeping an eye on a trail of molehills out in the meadow, but so far they haven't headed toward the gardens.

We've still got snow up on the mountain peaks, but Spring is trying hard to arrive down lower. I picked the first Dandy-lion flower in my front lawn yesterday, and it's looking like it needs a haircut soon, but I'll give it a week or so yet. There's a few thin patches that need the roots to spread a bit better.

Hi,
Hope you can find at least two street kitties to adopt. And hope folks over there will do the same.
At least start getting folks to Spay and Neuter the street kitties so there are not so many in the city running around without homes.
Try to get veterinarians to donate their extra time to do this for free.
It would be a good thing for everyone. Vets here in the States work with counties to do that.
Good luck to you getting a couple kitties to love
and to build models with.
Best Regards,
Gary
