out for the cats to eat and drink.
I feed the roaming kitties that come around here

These neighbours really care for the cats, every morning someone comes and provides them with meals. I want to give them water, but how should I serve them? Warm or cool?

Put cool water in a low brimmed dish so the cats
can easily get to it.
Keep the dish clean and Change the water daily if you can.
This will give the kitties good moisture.
Also if you care to,,, give them some canned cat food
along side the dry cat food.
The moist cat food helps supplement their need for
moisture that they don't get in the wild from kills.
If you care to,,, post some pictures of them here
so we can see your kitties.
Best Regards,
Gary

By the way,,, I forgot,,,
Put the water in a plastic bowl.
A metal bowl will heat up in the sun.
If you can,,, put the water out of the sun.
Best Regards,
Gary

OK Guys,
With nice weather here in Minnesota now,,,
My kids like for me to take them out for walks.
We have them leash trained.
So here is Callie waiting by the door for me to
get her gear on and take her out.
And one of us sitting in our chairs by the back door.
She enjoys sitting with me and watching birds and other critters.
Hope you all have a great spring time with your kitties too.
Gary

The cats live under a shelter, absolutely no sunlight comes in unless they are on a walk. But we don't have metal dishes anyway.

I've been stewing over something the past couple days. My girlfriend lives in Romania, and she works with a small group that rescues stray cats, gets them medical attention and has them spayed or neutered, then tries to get them adopted. Problem is, Romania has a..in her words..."backwards" attitude towards animals though (see the stories about the government poisoning of stray dogs). I was wondering if I set up a page on my site asking for donations if people would be interested in helping out. They have a Paypal account, so any donations would go straight to the group.
