Hi SWF,
Love the pictures of your kitties.
Please do post ore if you care to.
They are a couple of cuties for sure.
And,,,
Be careful out there.
I don't want to hear about any more broken parts.

roamers restaurant

Hi Guys,
Here are a few more pictures of our local roaming kitties eating at our kitty feeding site I created in front of our house.
As you all know,,, I really despise the word feral.
I think it's a nasty description of a kitty or dog or any animal.
So,,, I like to call them roamers.
And that's what I call our kitty feeding site.
Roamers restaurant.
Here are a few more pictures of some of our local
patrons that come for something to eat here.
Hope you enjoy the pictures.
Best Regards,
Gary

Okay, a few more
Took a while to sort out exactly what was in there, yep, there are 2.

I'm not even going to ask, I just don't want to know.

Some days you get it from both ends.
He was a gentle and patient 'foster daddy cat' with those kittens.
That was several years back and haven't done a foster since as my life situation isn't up to it any more.

You shall not pass without a toll

Oh, so that cute little calico down the street did give you her number after all.

Here are some pictures of a cat I had many years ago. It demonstrates how some cats just can not ignore something new. A visitor had draped an old knitted shawl over a rocking chair to get a picture of it and of course that cave needed to be explored and claimed.
This first picture shows what was seen at first:

Closer inspection revealed an occupant:

The cats was named Sydney officially, but had a nickname of Velcro since it stuck to everything when she was small. A neat tortoise shell pattern that provided very good camoflauge at night and many a trips and almost falls in a darkened room since it was my responsibility to avoid the cat and not the cats responsibility to get out of the way.

She sure does vanish in to the shadows!
And yes, things which are new and/or different do get their attention. sometimes you can watch them figuring out whether they want to investigate it or avoid it.
Seems with things like sudden noises outside mine will look to me for some guidance on how to take it, is it a big deal or a nothing.

It's "Respect Your Cat" Day.

. . . as noted in this editorial from NYTimes:
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/28/o...=headline&te=1

An excerpt:

"(T)he humble house cat is one of the most stunning organisms on the planet. No creature is more exquisitely sensitive, and yet none is hardier. . . Humans apparently never tried to cultivate them (their abilities as ratters are overhyped). Rather, cats took the reins in our relationship, undergoing a novel process of self-domestication, tweaking their brain structures to better withstand the terrible stresses of human company and thereafter radiating out from the Middle East in determined furry battalions."

Hi Space,
Your kitty reminds us of a kitty my wife had when I met her.
Her name was Schitzo.
She was a love and was my wife's baby girl.
We miss her alot.
Best Regards,
Gary
