Hi Kevin and VK, and Neil,
VK,,, nice detailed job you did on your kitty warming house. It shows that you are a great builder,,, and Kevin,,, I think that Ebony is just a playful guy. He is also an outgoing kitty too. He plays with me even when I don't have Callie or Brumby out for a walk. ( AS you all can see,,, Callie and Brumby are leash trained. This helps to control contact with other cats and to help us keep them safe. )
Here are a few pictures I took of Kitty going into his warming house today. Hope you all enjoy them.
Best Regards,
Gary

While we're talking cats, a continual frustration with one of mine.
What does he want? For almost all of the 7 or 8 years I've had him Georgie sits at the kitchen dining area junction making the most irritating continual buzzy whiny cry whenever I'm loading the dishwasher or unloading it and putting the dishes away.
No other situation in life, just when I'm loading or unloading the dishwasher.
In all these years I have not been able to figure out, discern, deduce, what it is about.
He just sits there making the noise or occasionally rolls over when I approach him.
He offers no clues that I can grasp.
I have autism and oh god the noise he makes grates on my nerves.
If it was something about the dishwasher then it is about 2 different dishwashers used in the 10 years I've lived here.

Gary-great pics of a 'disappearing' cat. Those houses look so cosy.🏨🏨🏨
Southwestforests-who ever really knows what a cat wants. Sometimes I'm more than sure they don't know either.😸😸😸

Hi Guys,
Thanks Neil. It's always a pleasure to hear from you.
Thank you so much for your comments.
And for SWF,,,
Your kitty might be telling you that he wants to play
with you.
You're doing something that makes a bit of noise,,,
and it is beyond his ability to get into it with you
because you are focused on the task at hand.
The fact that he rolls over when you approach him
means that he is submitting to your attentions and
offering his love to you.
When he is making the noise,,, he is actually talking to you.
So get on his level,,, ( the floor ) and pet him, and
play with him with a toy that he likes to interact with
you with.
( HE LOVES HIS DAD ) and wants to be with you.
Just be loving and also maybe comb him or snuggle
with him or just pet him for a long while when you're
through getting the dishes put up.
Oh yea,,, if you are washing his dishes as well,,, he
might want a little treat too.
Hope these ideas help.
Best Regards,
Gary

Thanks Gary for those last pics. Cute!

And here is an appropriate place to say Happy Christmas to you all, including from Biscuit, who posed for the attached picture.

Completely natural. She was just lying on the table amidst the decorations So I grabbed the shot. With her coloring a perfect Christmas picture!

Hi Brumby! Hi Biscuit!
Grumman and Georgie are a little distractable at the moment but they would say hi, too.

My birthday with my kids

Hi Guys,
Thought you might enjoy a few pictures my wife took
of me with Brumby and Callie on my birthday this last
Sunday, December 31st.
I also spent time with our outside kitties Ebony and Kitty.
Sure was great to just spend the day with my wife and kids.

And,,, I also built a couple F.G. flying Pterosaur models
to give to our neighbor who teaches science at a Catholic School
here in town for sharing with her students.
Best Regards,
Gary

Tent looks like one of those display models they had at Sears in the 70s and 80s. I thought they would be great for the 1/6 scale GI Joes of that time but was never able to sweet talk my parents in to sweet talking Sears out of a model.
