Tiny Paper Zoo

Apparently these are available as a free iphone/ipad app from here ...

https://itunes.apple.com/app/tiny-pa...580506726?mt=8

I'd love a set but I don't know anyone that uses a mac, let alone an ipad or iphone. Ain't no rich people around here.

But I do know that some of you papermodelers do use them.

Seems you print off photos of the instructions. These of course could be converted or scanned to .jpg format, which could then be emailed to me.

Anyone care to oblige?

Keep on snippin' ... Johnny.

I've just noticed ... it's not a free app. It costs $1.99 and there's a Tiny Paper Zoo + app around too for the same price.

I'll pay for the apps if you'll send me the .jpg templates.

Johnny.

I found a neighbor with an iPhone. He's downloaded the two apps and will let me know how he gets on saving the pictures.

I just downloaded from the link above. My iTunes account is Australian and Tiny Paper Zoo was free. The plus version is a paid app here. The only difference seems to be coloured printable instructions and one extra animal. It is easy to trace the parts from the iPad screen as the background is black and the parts white. There is no detail. You have to colour them yourself. I will have a go at one this afternoon.
Thanks for the link.

Robert

My ten year old daughter made a horse from this app by herself. The only trouble she had was attaching the back half of the horse. She got it a little skew-whiff. It was a very quick build for her.

I'm an androidguy myself so no I Phone here either, and wouldn't want one either if they tossed to my head... but besides that, it's kind of strange they sell them as an app instead of just files to download.

My neighbor has just passed the first five through in a Facebook message.

They've come through as .jpg files which copied onto my PC desktop just fine.

These are all in full colour, so I assume they are from the later paid app.

I could easily just paste them up here, but I 'm guessing that could be interpreted as piracy, so I've resisted.

I'll post some piccys as I build them though.

Nice build thread from a youngster there Robert. Get'em trained young eh?

Keep on snippin' ... Johnny.

Robert, it is still a nice build by your daughter. Nice added graphics, too.

Johnny, what's a little piracy among friends especially when you can stick it to the man. It's not like Apple has never stuck it to the people.
