The pond frog has always been a favorite of mine. I do little critters for the nursing home, and there are three of these guys sitting around the goldfish pond they have in the activity room.
As far as the horned frog (lizard), there are twelve varieties. Some of them are more lizardlike, but like you, when I think horned toad/frog/lizard, I think of the wide-bodied, short tailed fellow
