Thanks for the nice comments!

The problem with stability is, I made a stand out of bamboo sticks and put wire inside it for support of the model. The model is top heavy and sometimes flipping over on it's side. Since the wire is round in a round hole in the bamboo it can easily do so.
To counteract that effect I have added some screws inside the arms for weight, pulling it down on both sides, preventing the flipping motion. I hope it wil stay this way.

This is the largest model I have ever build. Since my other models are 1:1200 scale models of the Olympic class vessels and a 1:200 scale Titanic.

It is standing in a corner in the living room on it's own stand between some artificial plants and ferns for "atmosphere".

It is indeed a nice model if I may say so myself. It is only a pity that the first images, hosted on my FB account started disappearing after a while.
