Velociraptor skeleton scale 1:1

Well after my Photobucket 3rd party linking has been disabled all of my buildtopics have no more pictures. Including the ones that haven't been finished.

Well then start a new model, posting the images at Facebook, hoping it will allow 3rd party linking.

I have been pondering on building a dinosaur model I had found on the internet.
Geldelko's Velociraptor skeleton in it's actual size. We'll have to remember that these animals weren't the size as was shown in the epic movie Jurassic Park.

Well, here we go:

The last couple of days I have printed, cut out, and build the skull.
Having finished this, the hardest part is over..

The day before yesterday I finished the vertebrae of the neck, I havent closed these parts yet, as it might be nescessary to rig them with some wire.

the vertebrae of the neck

dryfitting the skull

Yesterday I had cut out the parts for the ribs, onwards to the next step!

With regards,

Jerry

Thanks for the comments so far! Yesterday I have 'finished' the last ribs.
They're not entirely closed up yet so it can be strung with wire for the animal to stand upright in the end;

The seperate ribs.

The ribcage fitted together, the fused part of the spine is where the hip bones will be attached later.

And an overview so far. It is not looking right at the moment, since it is just laying flat.
When it is wired and standing up I think it will look better;

Jerry

Question

By the way, does anyone know how to contact the designer,
via another way then having to create an account on Deviant Art?

Jerry
