Well, I ended up taking more photos today. These are all taken in my front garden.

That makes three photo sessions. It is interesting that just a slight change in cloud/light conditions makes quite a major change in appearance and effects.

Here are four shots from my first batch. To the right of the photo, there is a small palm-like plant - that is the cycad - the real food for this little animal. A real prehistoric plant that still survives today!

Two more from the second batch. Examining the cycad just in the edge of the picture.

Impressive, if we had not followed your construction we would believe to see the real animal and not a model. The texture or graphic is wonderful and your construction is perfect. And those photos make it look so real, a pleasure to behold. Admirable work, of the best I've seen, congratulations.

And lastly the best for last!

Two from the last batch. Taken in a lower light, very early in the morning (I was after "Golden Light" actually but it was a bit overcast.

Both my favorites - to the right is the famous cycad. A suitable size for the animal, bearing in mind he is lifesized.

A closer approach to breakfast!

With the changes in cloud and light from pic to pic your Microceratus appears almost chameleonlike Kevin. Excellence in modeling!
