Canon Deer Japanese Fine Arts

Here is a finished model of the deer available on the Canon Creative Park II site in the Art>Japanes Fine Arts section.
It is around 6 in/15.3 cm from the ground to the tip of the nose.

Printed on A4 167gsm stock at 100%.

Thanks.
There are a few non-glue tabs scattered throughout the parts that have the joining part graphics on them. I could have done a better job on curving those areas to eliminate the gap more betterer.

Thanks, Don and eatcrow2.
Those animal figures are nice to build. They look real good from a safe viewing distance.

Thanks, Kevin.
The background is from a pad of 12in x 12in (30.48cm x 30.48cm) paper called Tattered and Worn published by The Paper Studio. I was in a hobby shop many years ago and saw the pad on sale for $10 USD.

I curved the bottom of the paper to put the deer on. The curve helps eliminate the harsh line you get if you just put a couple of sheets of paper at right angles to use for the background. The deer and background was photographed inside a simple light box I put together. The lighting was provided by a led light strip arch using daylight led's rated at 6000k.

Here is a photo of two of the Canon Japanese Fine Arts deer. One is like what is offered on the Canon site and is the subject of the previous posts in this thread. The other is a reversed one. I took the file and reversed the pages to get an opposite posed deer.

I reversed the instruction pages also so I wouldn't get confrused.
