A couple of parts to complete the head, the inside of the mouth and the throat feathers. The cone shaped mouth is easier to install if little cuts made on each side, to be able to close enough to fit in the space for it, and then spread and glue, it doesn't look great until it is trimmed to the edges of the bill and mouth, and looks better with some touch up watercolor paint. The rear part of the body goes into place pretty easily, glues to the inside of the main body. The head glues on pretty simply too, and can then work on the wings and tail.

A work of art!

A three-dimensional water color painting.

Thumbs up

That is looking better and better. Some nice coloring work going on.
I bet a cat would find it intriguing, too.

Very beautiful.

Awesome water coloring, truly is artwork!

Most of all, "Thank you" for sharing such an interesting thread.

Cool part about doing it in watercolors, no problem finding the right color for the edges....

Mike

Incredibly beautiful work, the watercolour details are stunningly flawless.
