I too give my vote for a group title change to "The Natural World". I was never really comfortable with the "Zoo" title, as so many of the models were of free-living creatures.

Yes, the adjective "natural" is the best solution. All my future paper models of the landscapes, mushrooms and viruses I am thinking of (as well as other non-plants and non-animals) will fit in there!

Making of the 1/35 diorama gives little opportunity to make an environment with paper only, however some items could be done from scratch (I am not counting ready lasercut ferns or common netles plants ready to be glued-in). Today I made a Verbascum plant (pale yellow mullein), gluing to the piece of wire twelve or so separate leaves (three different shapes from the leaf cutter) and (after painting everything pale green) flowers (made of a thin roll of thin pale yellow paper, cut to slanted, triangular pieces). I really love paper, scissors and glue!

Let's see what range of plants in 1/35 can be done with paper only (except the original wooden stick or an axial wire in some cases).
To Be Continued
