full render graphics scale 1:30 scratchbuild container units
Some examples of my scratchbuild containers. All with existing numbers.
I basically take photographs of the units, make full render graphic drawings and lay outs and put them together. The flat racks are quite a lot of work though. Because of their flanges which I try to construct as 1 foldable lay out. These are just some examples of the dozens I've built. I build them in 1:87 , 1:50 and 1:30. I draw them in full render because I don't like the black construction lines you usually see on paper model containers. By using full graphics and shading it looks more realistic I think. The 1:87 ones look quite convincing on a model railway. Especially stacked.
