(09) Wicker chair

Third available modern photo of the Spirit interior. The lack of photos and drawings of the Spirit of St. Louis is remarkable, compared to the plethora of photos of less famous aircraft.

Note wicker chair, inflatable cushion (not the original NYP one, though, since Lindbergh reportedly was buried with that one under his head).

Note also the colour of the fabric on the inside of the aircraft.
