1622 VOC pinaccle Bommel 1:72 (originally Shipyard Papegojan)

I worked for three and a half years on this project. I changed the name, the stern and the flags. Like Papegojan, Bommel was built in 1626 at an Amsterdam shipyard. It sailed for the VOC,not being a real merchant, but more a yacht which protected the merchant ship against pitates. It was about 32 metres long and sailed much faster than the merchants. Sorry the photo is represented upside down; I don't know how to change this here.
