Hereford Cathedral

Hereford Cathedral, located in Herefordshire, England. The diocese of Hereford dates back to the 7th century, and the current cathedral building had its beginnings in 1079. The cathedral used to have a tower at the west entrance, but it collapsed in 1786. The chapter house was mostly demolished in the 18th century, with its stones being used in the construction of the bishop's palace nearby. The cathedral library has an impressive collection of medievel manuscripts, including a unique 13th century antiphonary, a 9th century copy of the Gospels, and one of only four copies of the Magna Carta. The model is a Rupert Cordeux design and is 1;240 scale.
