Fokker D.VII-2
Hello All,
Here we have a FG Fokker D.VII re-painted as the replica used by Roy Fokker in Macross/Robotech while he was in the Flying Circus. It was supposed to have a turboprop engine so the engine detials were ommited from the top as were the guns.
The re-paint was done by Janx. Other thant he re-paint the model is stock. the only thing I added to it was wing boxes for additional strength. I may add some rigging wires but have yet to find the D.VII's wiring details. I wonder if the replica would've had wires anyway?
This was the 1st time I've tried to build the FG D.VII and I must say it's a great model. Only trouble was the top wing sits a little to far back based on the struts and placement guides. The outer wing struts were a tad too long and had to be nipped to. Overall a good and easy model to build :D
