The shape is more complex than can be seen in that photo. It has all sorts of odd curves that are very difficult to render in paper. It was simplified to accommodate the limitations of paper, as well as the limitations of Sketchup as a design tool. That being said, the intake is very close to the photos that I have. I may tweak it slightly, but I think it is very accurate as-is, given the aforementioned limitations.
