Race Creation and Model Creation Guidelines
After speaking with Chris about this race confusion we decided to clear the process, so here it is.
The actual creation of a race in this universe and model creation for vehicles are different things. A person can create a race, or the models for a race or both. So here it goes.
a) Race creation
This are the guidelines for race creation:
1) name for the race
2) physical description (a drawing is a good idea)
3) aggressiveness level (Defensive race, Xenophobic, Territorial, Invasive, etc.)
4. technology level (just a simple concept - crude spaceships, bio-tech, energy transmutation, etc)
5. race history/back story (can be basic at first)
6. ship names
7. basic look of ships (a drawing of a fighter, a destroyer, a freighter and a cruiser is fine)
8. possible leader names (optional at first)
9. two unique units type/name/description (drawing)
b) Model Creation
Creating a model should have a race background.
It's important, but not obligatory, if you have a model that you think that fits, we can work the race after wards.
Model creation has the following guidelines:
1. Ship Sizes:
Fighter marker - 5 cm (The actual fighter for the second game will be bigger.)
Frigates - 10 - 15 cm
Destroyers - 12 to 18 cm
Cruisers - 17 - 23 cm
Battleships - 23 to 30 cm
2. Building Difficulty
Difficulty must be easy to medium for the beginning models. Later we can make special units with a wider level of difficulty. Getting into the game must be easy.
