Backup plan

From reading the posts it looks like whatever I do could only be an expansion. So I'll put down the structure here as required

1) Name
Solar Fleet, under the Solar Federation

2) Physical description
Humans, or technology-wise, trans-human.

3) Aggressiveness level
Defensive, the primary purpose of their forces is to protect their homelands from the constantly looming threats from other races and factions, and does not have the resources or needs to mount a frontal attack to expand their territory.

4. Technology level
"Technology" as we know. Excels at precision fire control, high calibre guns and AI, less adept at bio-integration and armour. The fragility of human operators themselves are the sole weak point in their ship design.

5. Race history/back story (can be basic at first)
See how this setting fits in with other human races, and then will complete this section...

6. Ship names
Extremely variable, depending on which one of the hundreds of languages the ship was constructed by.

7. basic look of ships (a drawing of a fighter, a destroyer, a freighter and a cruiser is fine)
say... this?

8. possible leader names (optional at first)
(without special requirement, then any)

9. Two unique units type/name/description (drawing follows soon)

Zenith Class Battlecruisers - A heavy, long-range siege vessel, equipped with a single moderate power proton cannon, but uses a highly directional field generator to accelerate the projectile en route, making its damage potential increase dramatically with range. Though defence and armour are poor.

Polaris Class Special Assault Cruiser - A medium-sized vessel with few conventional armaments, employing a lightweight construction with a high-performance turbine granting the ship with the ability to cruise superluminously for a short duration. In this state the ship attacks the enemy by physically slicing its ceramic matrix composite fins through the enemy ship, or catapulting those fins at extreme speeds towards the enemy. Only a few were constructed.
