Just became indoctrinated
Picked up both the 'original' Gerry Anderson Thunderbirds movie and the liev action 'remake' with Bill Paxton, Sir Ben Kingsley and Anthony Edwards. Great fun, plus a lot of 'wink-wink' going on with the remake (like the scene with the stringed puppet hand on the throttle...) so a lot of respect there for the original. Not Shakespeare but vintage Anderson nonetheless. I must say I enjoyed the remake's interpretation of the TB fleet.
BTW, my 11-year old daughter was taken by the two movies right off the bat, more so the remake - so perhaps that one hit their target audience after all. In a way it was less scary that the original (no bad guys getting wasted, after all.)
Thanks for sharing!
