I wouldn't worry about that at all. There are many models that cover the same subject, and it's always and interpretation anyways. I know it wouldn't stop me or many other people who in fact just make what they wish too. Especailly if you make a whole line up of Rutan's planes. Someone might want the whole line up. That would make a really attractive offer, a whole line up or the individual planes.
The Quickie looks really nice, so does the Lear Jet, though I would have gone for concentric rings on the nose (like the wingtip tanks) on the Lear Jet,, they look better, (IMHO).
