To complete the "xxx Cat" family of WW2 US Navy planes, here enters the F6F Hellcat. I've made two versions, one from the USS WASPCV7 site (sorry couldn't find out who the designer is) and the other from Ojimak. To my surprise when I reduced Ojimak's to 1/200 and upscaled the other from 1/300 both aren't exactly the same in size. This baffles me quite a lot as I used to think that I have been rescaling correctly.
Perhaps you can give me some advice on this. It seems that I normally take A4 size with 300 dpi as the norm and do the rescaling, either up or down. In doing some research on other printed model plans, I notice that each of the sheets of the F/A-18C at 1:33 by Kartonowy measures 24.2 x 34.4 cm which is bigger than the normal A4 21 x 29.7 cm. Yet, the F-16 by the same publisher is on A4 size. So, my question is - what should I do to resize them if I intend to build them at 1/200? Should I bring them together at A4 size before rescaling? However, if you take a look at Zio's planes, the Spitfire in this case, which doesn't take up the whole page of A4 when printed (figuring it to be 1/68 after measuring the printed plan), how should I deal with it to bring it down to 1/200?

From Ojimak
Here you can see the difference in size of these two hellcats. By measuring the built model against the spec from Wiki, Ojimak's seems right but the other is about 1/180 and not 1/200
