Thank you, Cami. It's 1/33 scale. Like I said, the technique works quite well in large scales because you do not have to deform the paper as much. I would not even try this in 1/72 scale or 1/43. In that popular European scale (I used to build metal and plastic cars in 1/43 scale) I could only get the smallest amount of curvature without creasing the paper.
