And So, To Live:
The poem below is one I still consider one of my best.
At the time I wrote it, it received some degree of acclaim from professional penmen. I had neither sought nor expected this to result from my efforts.
Kind and Respectful Regards my friends, Uyraell.

----- And So, To Live -----
Oh darkling Chyld fear not the Night,
- the Earth Thy Mother calls Thee,
To Leave the Rest that Thou hast craved,
-Walk places that appall Thee,
For mortal Kine have passed this way,
- Their fevered Hearts bright-burning,
and though You do not Lust as they,
-You have Your Own quiet Yearning,
For You, like they, of Passion Born,
-and yet must Seek fulfillment,
A Soul Immortal Ever Is,
- That Liveth in Enstillment,
- For mortal Kine know not Thy world,
Not seek, nor Comprehending,
- That You : The Night's Immortal Chyld,
Embody Love Unending.
