If your computer also has iTunes, that would make sense, Aaron my friend.

This is because iTunes has a very helpful habit of silently making Apple settings and formats the default for the computer it is installed on, unless you tell it to not do so at the start of installation.
Naturally, most people don't realise the little box has to be UNchecked to prevent the default being made.
Apple though, is happy, because yet another of its' products has been distributed.

All is not lost, however, because it is possible to have your DVD burner format a DVD in the format you require, by going through the options list prior to burning the disc. Somewhere in there ought to be a format choice option.
