I've only a few offshore suggestions, simply because they had influences in American styling within the relevant decades, which makes the offshore vehicles relevant to a US vehicle collection.
1934 Essex Super Six
1939 Tatra 77
1937 Bugatti Atlantique
1957 Jaguar Type IX
1957 Mercedes Benz 300 Sl Gullwing Coupe
1959 Bentley Continental R Type.
(Ever noticed how the early Lincoln Continentals seemed influenced by the Bentley Continental?)

Foreign cars that had a special place on the american car market could eventually... if I do not get married first lol... be the object of a special series. the Gullwing would be a must, but I would go for the Jaguar E-Type rather than the Type IX. The Bugatti Atlantique is beautiful indeed. The 1924 Hispano-Suiza Tulip wood would be my first choice I guess for a non-american related car. It would look great in 1/24 scale... who knows?
Thanks for your suggestions Uyraell.
