Another Model build thread? YES/NO!!

Hello group, although I posted this under Aviation, it could fit in any other of the 'Model Build' category.

I'm in a bit of a dilemma.

I recently built the ODDBall productions General Dynamics/Martin WB-57F at 1:48. I printed it on metallic paper and it came out looking quite nice.

Just recently Péricles did a build thread of the same kit at 1:100 which came out really great, and I wondering if there is any point in doing another build of the same kit at a larger scale?

I'm not all that sure I see the need for doing another build thread. These threads can become time consuming to do, and can take on a life of their own. If you've done a build thread in the past, you know what I'm trying to say. If you haven't, you should try it at least once.

I'm not looking to have any sunshine pumped up my skirt just for the sake of pats on the back, not that the kind words are not appreciated, because they are..................BUT, do you really want to see another build thread of a plane that most people don't even know ever existed? OR would most members be just as happy to see a dozen or so pictures of the finished model?

My feelings will not be hurt, by honest comments regarding this question. I'm sure I'm not the first person to consider doing a build thread so soon after a similar one has been completed, and this might be a useful subject to have a discussion on.

If you feel that you have a comment to make about this subject, please feel free to make it here.

Thanks,
Swampfox
