The wall paper is in his first post. It's a German textured paper material;
Rauhfaser. (Yes, I did a Google!) In his paint photos there is a good look at it. There are similar USA papers.
The spreading of the silicone really makes it all come alive. The wakes, ripples, wind and so on - all in 250 scale!
