Ahoy Shipmates,
I have been having entirely too much fun hacking and whacking at the parts to get them to cooperate. I figured out that separating the horizontal long hull shape into its' three sections then spliting them into two sections each was the way to go about it. I notched out the mounting holes in the vertical section, split the individual bulkheads, notching the first 3 and got to see how this plan works out. To my surprise, it is beginning to look like it is supposed to. Tonight I will notch the remaining bulkheads and be able to assemble the inner hull form.
I am grateful to Michaels' suggestion, it helped to put me on the right track. It is also apparent to me that I should refrain from over test fitting the parts, the more you do so, the looser the fit becomes. I will have some photos later after I get the parts cut out and can assemble the first part of my Akizuki.
