It's from a series of stories Mike was writing. Albion Rising is an original novel series of Michael Haggard about an advanced space faring civilization finding themselves stranded on a primitive feudalistic backwater planet... and how they get rescued from themselves. (quote stolen from Ninjatoes' blog entry for Mike's Albion Rising space superiority fighter). The first few installments were posted on his old site, but thats down now. Hopefully they'll be posted on his current blog;
