OK – here is the finished model. At long last, and after an unplanned break!

After completing it as built I felt it lacked something! So, decided to add “water” and vegetation.

I was actually a bit uncertain about doing this initially as the model includes the flat scenery, and while I was happy to do the water and vegetation, there was no way with the model being finished that I could "retro" model the river banks and physical terrain.

So, this meant the model was going to be a mix of 3D and “flat” surroundings. Was not too certain how well it would work!

Anyway, I took the risk and went ahead and here is the finished result, which I think was worthwhile - my feeling is the additions did enhance its appearance, and give it a bit more character and life!
