Hello puzzlings and modeleers! I'm here to alert you to a very model puzzle-thing about to be released into the world. It is shaped like DNA (just about 70 million times bigger than real DNA)...and it bends and twists like DNA. It's made up of just six (6) kinds of parts. It does not take too much brain to put the parts together properly, so it's an appropriate gift for non-rocket scientists. It's quite possible to do it blindfolded. There's exactly one wrong solution (which seems intuitively right to most novices). Once you get past that, you got a pleasingly bendy/twisty DNA-shaped thing. But then you find out that the DNA strands (if they have the right base sequences) can mate up in various ways to form higher-order structures. Many possibilities! So it's kind of an open-ended puzzle, with many correct solutions. Or if you're competitive, you can always have a biosynthetic race!
