Wellp, the Ender's Game movie finally came to DVD, which means that I was finally able to snoop around for reference screenies! Now, despite my own personal views concerning Orson Scott Card, I refuse to deny the fact that his Ender series is BEYOND amazing, and that I have been a fan now since I was in middle school. I've always wanted to do the ships discussed in the book, save for the fact that...well, they never really were described. However, the film did indeed make a fleet that was completely utilitarian and fitting for the kinds of tactics discussed in the original novel. So, with screenshots in hand, I set about creating what I hope will be the first in a series of Ender's Game models: the Internetional Fleet Dreadnought.
