I tried this inexpensive ($20 at Walmart) 3M Thermal Laminator without success (using Glad Cling Wrap as well as .7mil drop cloth). The machine has a 3mil and 5mil setting, neither of which produced any sort of bond.
Other (higher priced) models may work, but definitely not this one.
