Form and Crew Compartment Floor

So I cut out the crew compartment floor and glued it up using the form to get the required shape correct. Then I went ahead and coated it with Bondo.
About 15 minutes to set up. Then sanded it to shape, using the form to act as a backing. Three coats of gray primer. Sanded between coats. This is a very stiff base to build on. I will most likely go ahead and make a wooden plug and vacuum form this part and also the Heat shield.

I am jumping around on these various parts to determine the best way to get the best look I can for this model. I thought about Paper casting these two parts. So that it will remain an all paper model, and will most likely attempt that also. This Bondo part is pretty straight forward and easy and cheap to make. But it is a one off, and messy.

Anyway here are some Pics of the result. The walls were just taped together quickly to check and make sure the fit was correct. And it was.
