If the weight is light and the blades get enough airflow to them it should fly. Your design will be easy to see the aircraft's orientation, which is one of the hardest part of flying a quad. The roll control is reversed depending on if it is facing you or facing away from you. Beginners should ALWAYS have the quad facing away from them. Nose-in hovering will come with experience. The on board computer should compensate for any small shift in center of gravity. If it has problems flying the first thing I would do is to add vents to the body for incoming air.

I'm still lobbying for your "bug" ship from the "now for something different" thread. It would provide good orientation and airflow and look awesome on a quad.
