Small planes welcome, anything smaller than 1:200 will be accepted in this competition. So, this is organized on a point system. And no using pennies for size comparison!
I have a large penny and I know that one. You can have as many entries as you want. The one with the most points for a single build wins the competition. If multiple get the same top score we will have additional rounds.
1. eyewear/tools. Did you do this all with your bare hands and naked eyes or did you use a microscope and microns-thick tweezers? Glasses for farsightedness do not count. Total possible: 5 points.
2. Scale. How small is the model? Is it 1:201 or 1:99999? Total possible: 20 points.
3.Accuracy. Is it a perfect replica of the plane or is it a big ball of scrap paper with wings? This one may be compensated by quality of the camera, but we can tell if it is really accurate or not. Total possible: 10 points.
4. Other. Are there any striking or unique attributes about your build, like landing gear or flight capability? Or is it your own design? Total possible: 5 points.
5. Ease of Build at Large Scale/Complexity. Did you choose a build with so many complex features it took up 100 pages or did you do a two piece 1 dimensional baby-level plane? Total Possible:10 points
Total for a perfect score: 50 points. Have fun
! And does anyone want to be a judge? We'll need 3 or 4.
