Back to work on the Cent' after marking mid-term papers.
I have chosen to add some extra reinforcement to the hull floor and some enhancement to the driver's compartment. The reinforcement calls for the central keel to be removed and extra plates fitted to the bottom. I had previously assembled the hull, so I carefully removed each section of keel before fitting a floor panel.
My plan is to open up the front bulkhead and add extra detail such as ammo-stowage doors and fire extinguishers etc. around this area.
I have also removed a section of the glacis support to get the driver's compartment to fit. I would recommend leaving this off until work on the compartment is complete.
Still some chopping-up to do before fitting out.
