ok, so I've discovered this stuff called polymold. it looks like little white hard plastic beads, but when you pour very hot water over it the get really soft clear and sticky, to the consistency of silly putty. when it cools, it goes back to the hard white plastic. this stuff worked out great on my led wires and to make a harness to attach to the circus stage.
