1/72 Saturn V

After seeing my 1/2500 Saturn V quarter diorama, a coworker challenged me to build the Greelt Peterusma 8' 1:48 Saturn V. This idea was quickly vetoed by my significant other, and so the plan to build the 1:48 Saturn V at 1:72 was born. The availability of an LUT and crawler at 1:72 from EduCraft Diversions sealed the deal.

A test print revealed that I can't just print 2 sheets per page due to the original being laid out for A4. Plus, some of the lines become too thin and don't print, especially the details of the escape tower and shield. I'm in the process of rescaling in Inkscape, and relaying out each page to make sure there will be no issues. I will also be joining parts, now that they can fit on a single sheet, so as to reduce seams. I will not be removing any detail from the original 1:48 model.

In the mean time, I wanted to make sure the engines would not be too onerous of a task at 1:72, so here's the first one: The 1:48 F1 Engine built at 1:72.
