I liked the metod to use electrical wire for the posts and sewing thread for the handrail.
Right now I feel confident with the relief of the decks and water holes. In fact, my CV-6 Enterprise is going to include it. I feel confident with the sewing wire at 1/350 scale. I don't like the hull's joins, they are too visible at this small scale (20.68 cm lenght) I don't like the acetate handrails too. It works fine at 1/700 scale but not at 1/350.
This submarine was easy, and relaxing. Next sub will be a type VII, to compare. I was surprised that the type VII is shorter than the type 1a, but... they were coastal ships, not oceanic ones.
At the end, I like this one.
