Great idea, do the port side first, (I never would have thought of that), you may note Illustration number 8, it shows the port side in an exploded view but shows the same parts starboard in their final place.
You may need a magnifying glass to discern it all but it's all there in the illustration.
However you choose to do it I'm sure that it will come out well.
