Very interesting! From the level of detail on the outside, I'm guessing these are vacuum formed in concave negative form?
Our makerspace is building a vacuum form tool and this looks like an interesting project to try.
I'm hoping to use it to vacuum form C3PO heads from a Pepakura model I've got.
