Made a little more progress. Made a pincer and both shoulders. Had to re-think the arm pieces. The first iteration just wasn't working for me. I was trying to make truncated cones glued directly onto the next cone's bottom disk. It seemed sturdier to make the cones longer, then overlap them into a hole in the next cone's bottom flap. So, I re printed arms and started assembling them.
I also had an idea for the clear dome. I had a whole box of clear plastic sheets. I think they were for overhead projectors at one time. I cut the dome pieces from the plastic with flaps and all. Just as if they were paper. One caveat, the super glue kinda made the top edge a little cloudy. I think I can polish it out though. Any hoo, here are some pics:
