Indeed the switch from plastic to paper is a good one. Many reasons to switch, one, the price of plastic kits. I check them out and when I see one I like, I look at the price, then walk away. Second, with paper models, there are tons you can download both free and paid ones. The beauty there is, you mess up, which not one person here on this site will ever admit to. You simply crank up the computer and printer and low and behold, print a new kit.
So this is indeed a great hobby, and you'll find this site is filled with people from every walk of life, and ability when it comes to building.
